The concept of the 'four-year cycle' (and 'altcoin season') is outdated; simply following the historical cyclical pattern no longer guarantees returns, and projects/assets must genuinely create value to succeed. (Implicitly: the regime that would mechanically deliver a post-halving 2025 blow-off top is dead.)
“Nic Carter: The concept of the 'four-year cycle' is outdated, and truly creating value has become a new severe challenge”
Called the mechanical post-halving 2025 blow-off top dead; instead of a top, BTC fell from $94,184 (made) to $58,161 with no blow-off.

It's very plausible that Bitcoin exceeds the market capitalization of all the above-ground gold in the world within five to ten years (i.e. by ~2026-2031). If institutional adoption continues into an inflationary, yield-curve-control environment, the price of Bitcoin five years from now is far, far higher than where it is today.

BTC-exceeds-gold-mcap by ~2031-04-07; window still open, and BTC (~$1.1T at $58,161) has not surpassed gold's market cap.
